Tahoe Ski Leases 2026-27

Every lease from the saved search plus the close-in places found since, sorted by estimated miles to the nearest Palisades or Alpine Meadows base. Prices and terms reflect the managers' Sep 30 emails where they sent them. Green-edged rows fit the brief: near the lifts, one bedroom per family, within $7,500 a month per family.   • The whole lease is paid upfront: all rent, prepaid utilities and deposits.
  • Security deposit of one month's rent, refunded at the end less cleaning and damage. Pet deposit $500, refundable. Booking fee $250, not refundable.
  • Gas and electric (sometimes water) move into your name. Snow removal, trash, internet and cable stay in the owner's name and are prepaid with the rent.
  • Deposits plus the booking fee are due when your group is accepted.
  • Full payment is due 60 days before the lease starts. For a Dec 1 start that is Oct 2, 2026.
  • Several leasing teams work the same houses, and approvals go in the order applications arrive.

  • Every ski lease has a 4-month minimum; Little Cub Cabin needs 5.
  • Utilities are not included in the monthly rent.

Distances are estimates by road to the nearer base area, using the listing's own figures where it gave them. Winter drive times vary with storms and chain controls. The free Mountaineer shuttle covers Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows on demand.

    
Tahoe Donner HOA hot tubs charge daily guest fees and have holiday blackout dates; the Trout Creek pools and tubs are closed for renovation until mid-December. The Lake Forest Glen hot tub is closed for resurfacing with no reopening date.

    
Where a manager's Sep 30 email and the listing page disagree on price or sleeping capacity, the table uses the email and notes the difference. Season estimates multiply the monthly rent by the lease length and leave out deposits, fees and utilities.
